Business professionals or office staff may desire a series of intensive on-site occupational Spanish (a.k.a. "workplace Spanish") classes tailored to its industry (insurance, real estate, sales, etc.). Whatever your learning objective or schedule, SpanishSkool is prepared to work with you to meet your needs.
Why Spanish Skool and not a DVD or CD-based program that teaches Spanish?
We believe that one of the most important reasons Spanish Skool excels at teaching Spanish is because we are educated, native Spanish speakers. Spanish is our first language and we do not speak or teach "Spanglish" or "Tex-Mex".
Secondly, we tailor classes to your business or profession - Workplace or Occupational Spanish. While you won't learn everything there is to know about Spanish, you will learn the Spanish you need to know for your job - nurses, teachers, realtors, insurance agents, manufacturers, hospitality, law enforcement, medical practitioners, educators, ministry, collection agencies - anyone that needs to interact with Spanish speakers on any level.
Thirdly, our teachers are experienced and certified at preschool, some high-school, and some through college-level. We have extensive experience successfully teaching Spanish to adult learners of various backgrounds, occupations, and ages, with a variety of objectives and goals.
Lastly, Spanish Skool is available and dedicated to you and your learning - we're with you weekly to help ensure and encourage your success - unlike a collection of static CD or DVD-based programs.
Q - How long will it take me to become fluent?
A - Well, the truth is .... it depends. Like anything else worthwhile,
learning Spanish takes time, commitment, and effort. The occupational
(workplace) Spanish programs that we follow take approximately 30
in-class hours. For optimal study and most rapid fluency, Spanish Skool
suggests that an additional 2-3 hours is spent outside of class in
personal study for each hour in class.
Q - I'm not a kid anymore, can I still learn Spanish?
A - Absolutely! While research reaffirms that the younger the person,
the easier it is for them to learn a second language. It is NEVER too
late to learn, exercise and expand one's mental capacity.
Spanish Skool is a promoter of lifelong learning. We believe that all
people should continuously seek to discover and acquire new knowledge
and skills to improve ourselves personally and professionally.
Q - When and where are classes?
A - Our learning studio is located in historic downtown McKinney at 708 S. College Street, Suites 212 and 213.
SpanishSkool offers very flexible schedules (Monday - Saturday) and times (7:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.) to accommodate adult learners.
Q - How much do workplace (occupational) Spanish classes cost?
A - To ensure your dedication and success in learning Spanish,
we require that adult students commit to and pre-pay for a minimum of
one 10-classes series. That is, a series of ten (10) 1-hour classes are
available to you for one low price (see below).

Classes are available for 6 months on retainer, which allows you flexibility to schedule your ten-class series. All you need to do is call us a few days in advance of when you'd like to take a class and we'll work around your schedule.
Private (1:1) and semi-private classes for are outlined below for McKinney, Allen, Plano, Frisco, Little Elm, The Colony, Prosper and surrounding areas. Other DFW and North Texas areas available upon request.
